Blue Heron

I finally got some pictures of the Blue Heron that lives on the Oriskany Creek! I have tried to capture this guy on film several times over the last few years and today was my lucky day. Driving home from Mothers Day lunch, there he was just sitting on the shore of the dyke, munching on a fish. I rushed home, grabbed my camera and went back. Amazingly, he was still there. I was able to get these 2 pics before he flew away! Check them out and let me know what you think!

It's been awhile since I have been able to go out and shoot for fun. I made a trip up to Trenton Falls this weekend, it was my first time there. Although there was not a lot of water it was still very beautiful. Here are some pics:

Screwing around in Photoshop

I was bored so I decided to screw around in photosho with a picture of a statue I took while I was working at a church last weekend during a little break. The first one I used the solarize filter, the second one I used the glowing effect. I thought the looked pretty cool!
(the photo's will be coming, apparently there is a problem with blogger today!)

High Contrast B&W

This was done in the studio using intense light from her back left side to get the washed out effect around her. A soft box was used to light the front and get rid of the silhouette caused by lighting the subject from behind.

I am.......

This is a photo of a woman just about a month before she was due. This is one of the most personnal photo's I have ever taken. To me it reflects new beginings.

The photo was taken with my Nikon N80 using T-max 400 speed film.
